Ozzie Ciliberti, AOCA, CAAP


Ozzie Ciliberti is an award winning designer and photographer who began his career at Central Technical School and graduated in1968.
While there he studied drawing and painting with Doris McCarthy as well as a variety of fine art and graphic design subjects.
He enrolled and graduated The Ontario College of Art (OCAD) 1972 in Fine Arts having studied painting with William Ronald, Graham Coughtry and Tom Hodgson.
In 1988 he completed the Advertising Management Program at the Canadian Institute of Advertising (ICA) earning his certification as a Canadian Advertising Agency Practitioner (CAAP).
One of the 3 founding members and Senior Vice President/Creative Director of Reidcorp Advertising Ltd. in Toronto/Montreal until 1978, Ozzie worked on variety of national consumer and business-to-business campaigns for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Jamieson Vitamins, Procter & Gamble and the Department of National Defence. In 1998 he founded and is President of Vision Design & Advertising Inc.
Ozzie taught Advertising and Marketing at Seneca College for 12 years.
Primarily his focus has been in Design and Photography and has won numerous Toronto Art Directors Awards, Sheppard Awards, Toronto Focal Forum Award for Photography and numerous National Association of Professional Photoshop Guru Awards for Commercial Advertising, Photo Imaging, Web design. Ozzie won "Best of Show in Las Vegas" for the photo collage "Stairway to Heaven". Recently he won "Best of Show" for "The Bicycle", a photo taken in Southern Italy. In December 2011, his photo "South Rim Early Morning" won the Landscape" category in the x-rite contest. blog.xritephoto.com
